We picked up the DVD at our local grocery store for 14.99. I think I created a monster in my daughter, though. She knows WAAAYYYYYY too much about James Hunt and Nicki Lauda than any 8 YO probably should.
The documentary "Hunt vs Lauda" is available for streaming on N'flix as we speak - truth be told, it was way more interesting than "Rush" was to me, but that's me.

I watched the latest Hunger Games movie this weekend.

OK - I'm not the target, but I know when a franchise has lost the plot.....The first one was probably a hard act to follow...

Just saw Maleficent, which I thought was pretty good. A Disney movie. Angelina Jolie was actually quite good.

Oh, and two very off-center films from the Mad Men era:

The Swimmer The Swimmer (1968)

Seconds Seconds (1966)

Thanks Tech - I've seen "The Swimmer" but not "Seconds". Will have to check it out.

Well....for those who are Rhona "The Last Ship" Mitra fans....."Doomsday" is on again on FXM.

2008's "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" is on FXM again. Will air again at 10:30pm EDT.

Cate Blanchette blows me away and Brad Pitt is pretty good as well. It took me a few years before I actually watched the whole movie - it's very long. But I have to say all in all it's very good - very well done.

I just noticed something in the very last scene I hadn't noticed before.

What an incredible movie - huge cred to those who made it possible - including Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald.

Edge of Tomorrow.
What a fun movie. Had some good laughs and really enjoyed it.

I had no intention of seeing it from the trailers but went to see it today. It was great!

Thank you, Baz, for posting the youtubes about The Great Escape.
I enjoyed learning more about one of my favorite movies.

Picked up "Snake and Mongoose" over the weekend at the grocery store.

It's an interesting movie albeit a bit slow a times. I grew up in the 70s and had the Hot Wheels cars so it was cool to see how things worked behind the show, so to speak. Plus the movie came with a tshirt with the critters on it.
