Great episode. Star Trek was so far ahead of it's time it's ridiculous! Shatner really makes the show though. He was in a lot of other shows too. Westerns like The Big Valley, The Virginian, & Gunsmoke.

Yesterday SyFy had a Twilight Zone marathon and I tuned in for some of them. Another TV show way ahead of it's time. The Shatner episode with the plane is classic!

I made a list of original Star Trek episodes, but it was over ten, so I made a small list here. Balance of Terror - like a WWII submarine movie.
City on the Edge of Forever - maybe the best of them all, Harlan Ellison won a Hugo award for it.
Paradise Syndrome - maybe the most emotional of them all.
Requiem for Methuselah - an immortal man who was several of our greats in history.

Just watched, "The Debt", a 2010 movie with Helen Mirren.

I loved it.

Those are some good ones!

So many that are worthy of mention by for now I will list "The Doomsday Machine" with William Windom and "All our Yesterdays" with Mariette Hartley as two I really liked.

A Netflix movie about what can happen in a cryogenic unit....not bad!
(The Netflix version is all in english. Don't know why the trailer is not.)

Watching "The Irishman" on Netflix.

About halfway through.

Great movie!

Ensemble cast. Love the Ray Romano character!

This is the first time I've turned on Netflix to watch anything since sometime last year. I just felt I wanted to take a break. Good to be back!

Watched Nomadland, don’t bother.

One of those movies you watch the entire thing for something to happen and it never does...

I'm not much of a zombie movie guy, but went to the theater to watch Army of the Dead, as I'm a fan of Dave Bautista and Zack Snyder. It was sufficiently different and entertaining, but the surprise was the other cast members who I've never seen before, especially Tig Notaro, the helicopter pilot. I've been watching her series "One Mississippi," which streams on Amazon Prime for free. Looks promising. Several of the women cast members look like they have bright futures, as well as the German actor Matthias Schweighöfer, who plays the safecracker.

Another great Star Trek tonight. "The Enemy Within'" - the 5th episode of Season 1. Transporter malfunction divides Kirk into two with opposing personalities. BTW....Yeoman Rand was super hawt on that show!

On Amazon Prime today I watched another with Liam Neeson......whose always good with the revenge theme......

My son and I watched Tenet the other night, it was very interesting. Afterwards, I watched one of those youtube videos explaining the movie and was still confused. Lol. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...d536d93a38.jpg

We watched the first to episodes of "Underground Railroad" last night. I read the book a few years ago and really enjoyed it. The movie - not so much so far.
The first episode is mostly very graphic scenes of white men torturing slaves. We get it, they were treated badly, but this is was simply gratuitous. It was as if the director really enjoyed watching slaves being tortured and wanted to share his fascination with us.
MrsWD had to get up and leave the room and I fast forwarded through a lot of it.
I don't recommend it.

Just watched "Eye in the Sky" on Prime, with Hellen Mirren, really enjoyed it. Not an action flick, but an interesting look at how technology has changed the way we fight, and the dilemmas faced in modern warfare.

Watching "LeMans".

About 1 hour in.

Delaney: "Watch the Red Lola".

:)

I just watched “Argo” with my lovely wife.

I know it was made a decade ago but what a great movie...little hokey in parts, a bit wrong historically, but excellent overall.

The Alan Arkin character hooked me.

I don't have any premium channels, but I find a lot of interesting stuff on YouTube, Tubi and Pluto.

Found Dragged Across Concrete on Tubi and it was refreshingly unpredictable for a cop/crime drama. Brutal. I liked it.

"Gone in 60 Seconds" on AMC. The re-make with Nick and Angelina. Good car flick!

The TV version edited too much out.

Maybe so but I'm still enjoying it. Great cast! Delroy Lindo's character as the auto theft fed is great! Robert Duvall. How many great movies has he been in? He makes every one of them exponentially better!
