Costner's "Horizon" is now on Prime for $5.99

It's long, be prepared to be confused until around two hours in, when it starts making sense. Have some beers and snacks and understand it's a story, not a fast action movie.

Scenery of course is spectacular, and probably pretty realistic pioneer life depictions.

People wanting instant gratification will quickly get bored as the intent is a long four-part epic on the settlement of the west. Both sides portrayed fairly. Native American indigenous people and the "white eyes."

I'm probably biased since it was a long filming process here. Of course, if you've never seen Moab, the scenery alone is worth it.

I love Westerns and greatly respect Kevin Costner. Not sure if I'll wait until it streams for free or maybe $2.99. When does part 2 come out I wonder.

1957...pretty good script, decent acting, courtroom drama. I enjoyed it. A departure from today's stuff.

I said the same thing telling our son in law about it.

Went to the theater and saw Alien: Romulus. A total tribuite to the original 2-3 movies. In the same style, plenty of scary sequences and some good special effects. I'd wait to see it when it streams, though.
