"First Man". The story of the Moon landing but focused on Neil Armstrong. He was as I've always heard a hard core steely eyed pilot but if the movie is completely accurate his home life sucked.

Reminds me of an Archer episode where his wife removed her ____ to wash it in the sink.

I looked for this last night on Netflix and it wasn't there.
Is U.S. Netflix different in Canada?
Ended up watching American Psycho.

"Is U.S. Netflix different in Canada?"

I believe so. When I was working and traveling globally, I would take my iPad to watch movies on the plane and hotel rooms. Movies I would bookmark in the US, would often not be available in other parts of the world.

On the Netflix.

Long Legs. Horror, I had a hard time sitting through this. There is such a thing as taking suspense too far. It just drags on.

Logan Lucky on Netflix.
An entertaining heist movie with lots of good name actors in it...esp Hilary Swank.

I've always liked Richard Farnsworth. "Silver Fox" and the western stuff OK, but I always thought he shined better in other stuff such as the Sheriff in "Misery".

I watched "The Straight Story" years ago, and finally watching it again. Directed by David Lynch. Every frame is a painting and Farnsworth is at his best.

We used him in an Olympia Beer commercial.
It was one of the favorite things he ever did, and when he was preparing his suicide, he contacted his agent to arrange for the commercial to be played at his memorial service. It was quite an event with a country western band, and virtually everyone who had ever been or played a cowboy in Hollywood present.

Very cool! Chiat/Day was the heavy hitter in the ad world.

I wished I could have worked with him. He always seemed cooler than a Polar Bear's toenails. I did get to work with Ben Johnson. Nice guy and another badass stuntman.

He was unable to remember lines, so there were multiple takes spliced together to make the commercial. Sweet guy. And genuine. Seems he was always cast to be himself. I thought he was great in the Grey Fox.
One of his buds was Wilford Brimley, who spoke at his memorial. Very cool that you worked with Ben Johnson. Great screen presence.

We didn't have any other celebrities work for Olympia. Tried to do a promotion with Cassandra Petersen but her husband/manager wanted stupendous money for a very little work.

I wasn't aware of his story.

Rebel Ridge on Netflix
A good action movie...nice to see Don Johnson back in a 'bad guy' role.

Skywalkers: A Love Story

She is hard to stop watching. Kind of slows down in the end though.

Colin Hay: Waiting For My Real Life was terrific. What a story and what a character. And what an artist. Rent it on Amazon for $1.99. Don't watch it with the ads on freevee by accident like I did.
