The Fall Guy, just watched it. Over the top action and a weak story line but fun humor with Emily Blunt. Hard to not like. Lee Majors and Heather Thomas have cameos at the end. They are very old.:D:D

Liked this one. The director took a few left turns but for a film that is basically a stranded car and kidnap victim in a Colorado blizzard, it works. Bad guy is particularly unnerving.

I watched Guy Ritchie's, Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare the other night. It was enjoyable enough. On the other hand, I keep thinking it could have been done so much better...

I saw this for free on Prime.

I think I paid too much.

Steve Carlton 07-04-2024 04:28 PM

I thought the first half was good, but the second half way over the top. I did enjoy the current Beekeeper with her mini gun.

If you're even a little bit queezy about heights, this one will really get your heart pumping.

Clint spaghetti western-athon on TCM....right now "Fistfull of Dollars".....

As always....commercial free!

This looks OK (not great) and I suspect there's only one reason they decided to make this sequel.
- The original is a classic & doesn't need a follow up.

^ Directed and co-produced by Ridley Scott. I'm optimistic.

Anna. A cross between Red Sparrow and Atomic Blond. If you liked them you will like Anna.

LOL, me too! He must be super fast. He can outrun a mini-gun and 12 guys with machine guns shooting at him. Good, dumb action though.

Movies like The Beekeeper are like fireworks. Men and boys like them but the women don't understand.

Baz 07-20-2024 04:10 PM

"Planes, Trains, and Automobiles" (John Hughes 1987) just starting on TCM.

As always.............commercial free!
