"Ghostbusters" on AMC right now...the first one.

Freaking hilarious no matter how many times you've seen it.....

"Open Range" with Robert Duval, Annette Benning, and Kevin Costner. It's one of my all-time favorite cowboy movies.

Watching "The French Connection" on TMC right now. Good stuff so far.

Is there a secret joke that the main characters are eating all the time?

Recognized Bill Hickman as a Detective. Better known as "the driver" of the Charger in "Bullitt". cool

He also was driving the tow vehicle when James Dean was killed. Supposedly Dean died in his arms.

Go see, 'Hell or High Water'.

Jeff Bridges in a leading role.

BTW, for those of you who like to watch old movies, my wife and I watched, 'From Here to Eternity' last night.

It was awful...do not bother.

I didn't know that. Interesting.

I watched 'Harvey' not long ago - hadn't seen it in years. Funny movie and Jimmy Stewart is perfect in the role. Well worth it. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1474129130.jpg

Meh, Star Wars Schmar Wars. I never understood the appeal but to each their own.

I watched "American History X" last night on IFC. It was uncut but had commercials.

That's a GREAT movie, Wayne. I like anything Edward Norton is in.

Speaking of which....did you ever see "Bustin' Down the Door" narrated by Norton?

I don't know who made that happen but it was an amazingly good decision, given the unique content of the documentary.....

r.

Saw it last week....great movie! Surprised it didn't get more notice.

Baz 09-23-2016 02:34 PM

I've been watching the Star Wars movies on TNT this week. So far they've aired Episodes 1,2 and 3. Tonight will be the original...(episode 4 "The New Hope")

I got 'em all on DVD but just like watching them again on cable......for some oddball reason. :)

Oh Haha 09-23-2016 02:43 PM

I watched a neat old movie yesterday. " 5 Weeks in a Balloon" with Fabian, Red Buttons, and most importantly, a young, smokin' hot Barbara Eden. :D

There were some really funny lines that were perfectly sarcastic.

Ha...I saw the ending of that one a month or so ago. It's a classic!

That's the film not so subtly alluded to in 'The Godfather.'

A horse's head on the bed gets the young Italian singer (Sinatra?) a movie role that saved his career. Prior to, there was no way in hell he was getting that role.

Netflix, BBC production series, streaming only....The Fall and Luther....good watches. Agent Muldahr from X files is a blonde with low morals.
