I watched Fight Club the other night. It was the first time in over 15 years.

Good movie although the ending is stupid.

I agree.....goofy ending!

Tell you what though.....over the years I've really come to appreciate the acting of Edward Norton. As well as Brad Pitt.

Bit of trivia....Edward Norton does the narration on "Bustin' Down The Door".....

This one looks good, and Bruce Willis is still killing the action movies. He's just so good at delivering the lines like the "Jack" or "last customer" or the bit at the very end of the trailer.

Worth watching.....

I watched "The Warriors" recently on Crackle for free.

https://www.crackle.com/movies

Flash to the past .......back to when I was a young man watching it in the movie theater with my buddies.

I also recall a heated discussion with my older sister about the film. She hated that I watched the film and enjoyed it, because she read a review by a man hating lesbian that didn't like it. I recall telling her over the phone the movie plot and what it meant to me, and that it wasn't all about violence as she had been told.

I suggested that she see it for herself before judging the film or anyone else - a novel concept apparently. ;)

Despite the film's juvenile comic book like basis it's aged pretty well - 1979.

The Warriors is a 1979 American action thriller film directed by Walter Hill and based on Sol Yurick's 1965 novel of the same name. This novel was, in turn, based on Xenophon's Anabasis. The story centers on a New York City gang who must make an urban journey of 30 miles (48 km), from the north end of The Bronx to their home turf in southern Brooklyn, after they are framed for the murder of a respected gang leader. It was released in the United States on February 9, 1979.

After reports of vandalism and violence, Paramount temporarily halted their advertising campaign and released theatre owners from their obligation to show the film. Despite its initially negative reception, The Warriors has since become a cult film, and it has spawned multiple spinoffs, including video games and a comic book series.
Might be one of the best "B-Movies" ever made.

A cult classic!

This afternoon caught the ending of "Legends of the Fall", part of "The Caine Mutiny", and parts of "Bat 21".

One of those days when I was doing other stuff around the house so wasn't glued to the TV but had it on while these classics were on.....

:p

Such a great movie... " coke cola pute"

I watch "Hell or High Water" last weekend. Highly recommend with Jeff Bridges and Chris Pine.

I've seen many/most of the Marvel movies including the two previous Thor's. I think this one was the best of the bunch. It was almost as much comedy as action, and was very funny. Chris Hemsworth is good at comedy IMO. The trailers don't do the movie justice. It was very enjoyable. There was action, but it was more of a movie with some action than all action with a little movie. Cate Blanchett is in it and is smokin' hot and the villain. Matt Damon made a very bizarre cameo.

Steve, I concur... Very entertaining movie.

Hadn't seen this for a while. Watched it tonight on Amazon, still pretty funny, and fits in with today's "hysteria". The Russians are coming, the Russians are coming.
