Last night I watched "10 Cloverfield Lane" on SyFy and thought it was pretty good. Lot of tense moments. They're working on a sequel, from what I understand.

I did not watch that because I remembered seeing it when it came out. I just looked it up and I must have been hallucinating that.:D:D Sucks getting old. Never seen it but it sounds like my kind of movie so now I will look for it.

Just watched Foreigner on Netflix, Jackie Chan and Pierce Brosnan, outstanding movie, I wasn’t expecting much, but very worth the watch.

I thought Cloverfield Lane was the sequel.

There have been three so far in the franchise:

Cloverfield
in 2008 (grossed $170 million)
10 Cloverfield Lane in 2016 (grossed $110 million)

.....The Cloverfield Paradox came out this year - I have not seen it yet.

Watching "Varsity Blues" right now on CMT. "We Are Marshall" comes on next in one hour.

Oddly enough, Marshall is playing right now (MTSU). All tied at 3-3 with second qrt just underway. GO Thundering Herd! ;)

Watched Gran Torino on Friday for the umpteenth time. I love that movie.

"Sweet Country"--an Aussie film about an aboriginal killing of a white man in the 20's

"Isle of Dogs"--Wes Anderson film--didn't know what to expect, but it was really well done.

'Ready Player One'................not bad. Good action A.R. flick with a great soundtrack and 70's / 80's / 90's references peppered throughout. Just knocked it out with the wife and she said she'd even watch it again.

This looks interesting. Note the use of homely environmental suits.

Got a kick out of Bad Times at the El Royale. Unique, with a lot of layers that peel away.

Terminal. A twisted tale of murder and revenge. Very dark. Sort of a train wreck. Once started, I just had to watch. Not for everybody . I liked it. For reference, I never miss American Horror Story.

The land of steady habits. Netflix movie, I think. A study of a group of disfunctional people. Good acting but not that good of a story. I watched the whole thing so it was not terrible. Just not the sort of movie I would normally watch. A bit better than watching reruns or the weather channel, I guess.

New on Netflix

Fracture — really good crime/courtroom flick

I was in the dentist chair and they have Netflix. Picked "Green Mile" which I had worked on 19 years ago and hadn't watched in ages. Forgot how great it is, Michael Clarke Duncan, Tom Hanks , David Morse, Barry Pepper, Michael Jeter and Doug Hutchinson (what a weasel in the film, nice guy real life), Graham Greene, Harry Dean Stanton.

Frank Darabont did a great job directing, still holds up so well today.

Skip Cloverfield Paradox. It's horrible.

I thought you were talking of this movie....Tom Hanks in a very funny comedy.

Now I may have to watch "The terminal".

Terminal. Margot is pretty hot. And scary.
