Watched "Fractured" a thriller on Netflix with Sam Worthington. Takes his wife and daughter to the ER and they come up missing.

I thought it was a variation on the Kurt Russel film "Breakdown" but it had a twist at the end I wasn't expecting.

The Hunger Games. Semi old movie thats been on TV 100 times but I just decided to give it a look. Went in with low expectations but ended up liking it. 24 People left in the woods to kill one another, with one winner, all on TV. Savage for sure.

Just stop it right now, Jack. The hall of knives scene is pretty slick in 3.

It's a simple formula and it's effective, if you are cool, like me.

I see you are not even remotely concerned about his dog, BTW.

I admit, I have a different view of what makes a movie good. I do watch a lot of movies so maybe I expect too much. If John Wick was wearing a cape and in The Justice League or The Suicide Squad I may say, 2 thumbs up.

Recently I enjoyed 'The Mule' with Clint Eastwood, great story with a good twist at the ending

At the other end of the spectrum I really enjoyed 'Stuber', as an adult I shouldn't have but some of the one liners made me laugh

I also watched 'The Art of Driving in the Rain', stunning film, parts of it really set of my pollen allergy despite me being in an aeroplane

Rambo last blood. I did not pick this movie. Same category as John Wick 3, lots of . Not that great.

Also saw the Kitchen. Three women in the 70s decide to be gangsters. Watchable but not the Godfather for sure. Great music though.

That movie gave me a headache and the ending was unexpected. Overall not bad but it could easily have been so much better.

Hidden Figures. Fact based movie about women that did very important work for NASA back in the early 60s that got the space program going. Pretty good movie .

Hidden Figures was a good movie. I honestly surprised it got made in this day and age. No big car chases, explosions, kung fu/gun fu. Just well written and acted.

Really enjoyed Doctor Sleep. Well done sequel, in my opinion. I'm a big fan of Ewan McGregor, and now Rebecca Ferguson. I'd post the preview, but it gives away far too much, I think.

An unconventional space movie filled with big names.
The first half is a bit ennui and/or confusing, but it makes up for it at the end.
Watch the Extras first to understand the science.
