Which flashlight did you buy, and why? Maglite?

I think maglite fell behind in technology. They sold a billion lights. But damn, they got left behind in a incandescent glow. Looks like they are stepping it up.

The flashlight I was mentioning was some Surefite tac light. Honestly, it is now outdated. But it is a great light. I night jog with it. And it goes traveling with me.

Doode, we live in Los Angeles... on matter how perfect your cabinets, doors, windows are installed they will all be out of square in a year!

I could have saved you some time. Buy a different car, not a different stereo.

I was once cutting a hole in a roof while working with a new guy. I had a sawzall and I cut one leg, then I turned and cut another, both by eye. Then the fellow said to me, ''Don't you want to use a square ?''. Well, I responded that it looked pretty square to me, but that he could check it if he wanted.

Well, it was perfectly straight on both sides, and perfectly square to boot. It was also 16''x24'', like a framing square. He looked at me with wide eyes, and said accusingly, ''YOU DID THAT ON PURPOSE !''. Well no, I am ''just lucky'' on a very consistent basis. I honestly think that there is often an angel on my shoulder.

And I am inclined to listen. That doesn't mean I don't use gauges and fixtures from time to time, but I also use ''the force''. And I trust it.

If I had a bow that was accurate, and shot well, I would think that maybe, JUST MAYBE, it was set up EXACTLY the way it was intended to be. Maybe not intentionally, but maybe circumstantially, and Perfectly.

With Grace. The question is sometimes, can we accept that ?

That's because you live in a rich area over looking the pac ocean where the ground is moving all the time. You must live in a good and well built house that's square. I only buy adj hinges to make me look good. Plus, I now only build sloppy out of square houses to compensate for that.

You dirty dog. You cut along the rafter to mess with the new guy. That's funny, plus you are damn good I bet.
