There are a lot of POS's all over the world. Yes, this man was over the top, overzealous and self-righteous. And like everyone of us, we too will meet our demise one day.
However, his "shock" over our society is how fundamentally we have become morally and ethically bankrupt. Our new 'value' system in America is little more than gross consumerism, combined with sports and celebrity worship. And our local/state/federal politicians...nothing more than a mirror reflection of us as a whole. That's a model long-term which will not be sustainable.

The family stated to the news media there will be no funeral.
He was kicked out of his church last Sept. It's been reported that the hospice he was in treats HIV patients. It's been suspected that the reason he hated gays so much is because he was one himself. A sad little man and his twisted family.

I was listening to a radio show on the way home today and the host looked at this a-hole a bit different than most. His thought was yes he said terrible hurtful crap but he/they have never resorted to violence in any way to get their message out. They let the news media do this for them. They never made pipe bombs, shot up schools or hijacked planes. They exercised their freedom of speech and just sat back and waited for the reactions to boil over. If they had been ignored they would have gone away.
