Should have stayed home today..
Geez, what a frikkin' day at work.
FIrst off, one of our trucks break down and it takes the mobile fleet guy 4.5 hours to get my drive back on the road. Called some customers in the meantime and advised of the situation. Problem solved...... A couple of hours later my driver calls me to say she was rear-ended by 2 cars. ![]() Then, one of my best employees tells me that today is his last day. ![]() I contacted HR and of course, get no response via email or phone. Wonderful. I wished him well in his new career and will take care of the details another day. Finally, I headed home hoping that nothing would happen on the way. It didn't and I am now enjoying a well deserved(I think) Stella. TGIF

Yep, the 911 is just fine. If the sun comes out later I will be "going to the grocery store" in it. Only 1 Stella so no worries about blood alcohol level.

I had one of those days that reminds me why so many other guys my age throw in the "corporate" towel and open a Jiffy Lube.
Enjoy the weekend....it'll go by fast.

I think the worst art of the whole story was that part about the Stella.

And I thought for a moment you were going to get lucky with Stella and then I realized it was a beer. After a day like that I would have needed both!G.

Yes. When I clicked on this thread my fear is that you got rear ended by some soccer mom yacking in a cell phone or something...

That would make you better, but not good.
Had you said Koenig-Pils, then that would have made it good, perhaps close to great, which could have been achieved by a Jever or Flensburger. Carter |
