With 6 of the top 10 teams losing, it will be interesting to see which teams wind up where in the year end rankings. Assuming that Oregon and Ohio State will be #1 and #2, and that TCU will be #3, that leaves 7 vacancies in the top 10. MY guess is that Georgia Tech will wind up at #5 or 6 and that UGA will finish at about #9. That leaves #4, #7, #8 and #10 to be filled. Who do you think will also be in the top 10?

You may be right. I was putting TCU up there because of their blow out bowl win. So, for the sake of discussion, let's say Oregon and Ohio State will be #1 or #2, MSU #3, TCU #4, and Georgia Tech #5. I still think that Georgia will wind up at #9 so that leaves #6, #7, #8 and #10 to nail down. What say ye?

A case could be made to put Boise State in the top 10 - they beat Arizona, (ranked 10th) in the Fiesta Bowl, and Arizona beat the Ducks during the regular season....

Wait.... He's 20 years old, lives in Eugene, Oregon and smokes WEED????? Give me minute to wrap my head around this...

I question the timing of the test. If you tested the whole squad I doubt they could field a team. Marijuana is not a performance enhancing drug unless maybe the event involves Doritos. Pot was even legalized in Oregon.

They all think they can hydrate and shove coffee beans up their asses and beat the test. Dumb kids. Still, I hate seeing his dream crushed for something so trivial.

Also, the NCAA is limiting Oregon's practice time this week because Oregon is on the quarter system and class is in session. Ohio State is on Semesters so they can practice and study film all they want. Bizarre.

I think it could go either way....and thus hard to pick a winner - let alone a score.

Seems like it would be a high scoring game.

I'm going out on a limb and picking the Buckeyes just because I think they feel disenfranchised and are going to bring a lot of attitude into the game.

Same could be said for the Ducks but I think the Bucks want this win even more!

I am, by default, a duck fan (wife and daughter are natives of Oregon and daughter is attending U of O).

Both teams look very, very good... I just hope it is a good game and not a blow out.

Not a bad choice. I'm hoping Bucks 44 Ducks 38. O/U at 74 is pretty conservative in my mind. If it's under that it will be an Oregon blowout. Oregon has talent, but OSU has a lot of heart this year and their coach is an expert at exploiting it.
I still remember USU players breaking Ted Ginn's ankle after he ran a kickoff back for a touchdown. And Pittsburgh celebrating their win at half-time last week. The best teams can do stupid chit. Anything can happen.
