My KSU Wildcats won big today, and unranked and unrespected WVU and OSU gave Alabama and FSU a real run for their money. Good day for the Big 12, even with a few losses.

ECU Pirates won handily yesterday night, 52-7. I didn't get home 'til 2am!
Next game won't be so easy. South Carolina. There. I too am proud of the Pokes (I'm an alum). They kept FSU close all game. That in a game I think many figured would be a blowout. Carter |

It was a good game yesterday and I was surprised to see Virginia still in the game at the end. UCLA made a lot of mistakes, but some of that was caused by Virginia's penetration on the line.

I thought the Badgers had LSU and went to sleep at half time. Damn it.

Tonight Miami and Louisville. I was at the Bowl game they played in Orlando last year and it was a beat down. I hope Miami can make a game of it this time!

Matt, you had to be on pins and needles during the K-State Iowa State game. Glad they pulled it out.
I was loving the the BYU-Texas game until 5 minutes ago. BYU has an excellent athelete at QB. Hopefully he can put a few more points on the board, make it blow out, and shut up the locals for good.

That was stressful as hell, if KSU plays like that against Auburn it's not going to be pretty. I'm hoping VT can hold off OSU right now.

Hated watching my Spartans lose, but that was a good game. Ducks were dominant.

I really thought MSU would challenge UO. VT did a great job against OSU, I enjoyed that game immensely.

Was surprise tOSU couldn't get it done against the Chokies......and was really pulling for your Spartans, Josh. Looks like the D just ran out of gas.
Except for an unfortunate (likely) season ending leg injury for Jake McGee, our recent TE transfer from Va.....I was very pleased with my Gators yesterday. Our change at O.C. and O-line coach is paying dividends. Plus we are healthy!

I agree, MSU was doing a great job until they seemed to slow down in the second half. Oregon is the real deal! U of Michigan showed their normal lack of talent (players/coaching) in an embarrassing loss to ND. On the bright side, I'm a big fan of VT right now

Here we go again Gentlemen......another round of college football.
Will the Sooners get it done against the Vols ? Will the Cocks (at home) get back on track and prevail against the Dawgs ? And what about Florida and Kentucky? The start of conference play....rut roh.....

Cocks beat UGA at home. It was a close one. UGA easily should have won.

Georgia Tech Football, etc.
The Yellow Jackets are on a roll so far. They beat a very good team from Georgia Southern on Saturday, final score 42-38. Both teams run a spread option offense which made for two very tired sets of defensive players! On to Virginia Tech next week! Oh, and by the way, South Carolina beat the University of Georgia (UGA) on Saturday night!

Yeah, I had a feeling the old ball coach would get that win over the Dawgs. It was a nail biter there at the end. Not unlike the Gator win over a much improved Kentucky team. Next week the Gators travel to T-town and will have their hands full with Coach Saban and the Crimson Tide.

Hey Auburn guys - you're welcome! FOUR trips inside the Auburn 30 with zero points. FOUR! FOUR!!!! Our all-american receiver has a ball hit him IN THE HANDS in the endzone, which appear to be made of stone as the ball bounces to a defender. Our excellent field goal kicker misses three easy field goals, including a 22 yard chip shot. Good game, but dammit!
