Rush
Saw the movie RUSH tonight by Ron Howard and it's excellent!
I really enjoyed it and highly recommend it. Very well done. Took me back to the late seventies a little when I was reading about F1 in Road&Track. It was a prescreening a friend had tickets too. It opens everywhere on Friday. |

My 10 year old son is really disappointed this is a R rated movie. Is it that bad? He really wants to see it.

Just saw it...excellent, but LOUD!
I read a recent review with Ron Howard about the film and he stated that he could not waste million dollar race cars on the crash scenes so they are all CGI. Very well done. By the way when asked of Ron, "do you drive exotic sports cars yourself"? His response was, "no, actually we have a Volvo and Suburban"! The racing will go down as some of the best on the big screen. James Hunt is apply played as a sex loving wild man. Not for kids........lots of nude scenes.

I'm so glad I got to see the real thing back in the 70s and early 80s! Living in SoCal back then, Long Beach hosted Formula 1 from '76 to '83. Great times!
