That Honey Boo Boo was one of those things in life that really bothered me. At first I thought it was a set up but it wasn't. These people were really like that. Then I really got pissed - not at them, heck their just regular redneck. Nope, that the producers and the folks watching. Here was a show that basically made serious fun of a pathetic display of Americana. I thought the thing was incredibly poor taste and frankly added to my overall cynasism of humanity.

The mere existence of television like this and so much more of this vile, mindless pus is what has me deeply concerned for the future of this country.

It truly is not even remotely amusing what has happened to the cognitive power of the general population in this country. One could not purposely set out to do more damage to the nation.....

So many mindless shows, like the Kardasions, House wives of what ever...and how many seasons ran of crab fishermen in Alaska?

Networks put out what the people will watch. How many decent shows have been cancelled due to lack of viewership?

Pure and simple trash vision. Did a basic search entry of TLC, and this is the network highlight. Where is the 'learning' or anything of educational value?

Ugg...Yes. I am horrified to think that a person's first contact with America would be accidently having to watch Honey Boo Boo or any other similar ridiculous show we seem to air.

I do not have a problem with the Alaska crab fisherman show. After all, it is showing people who WORK.
