Thanks... I watched this twice back to back.

I really like the process they went through for the custom brakes and clutch pedal mechanism.

You can see Nik is clearly not having much fun anymore. He doesn't crack a smile the whole episode. I think their next one will have a few less accessories crowded under the hood - like the modern heat/ac system, intermittent wipers, and did they add anti-lock brakes?
I'd like to see how much stuff had to remove just to get to the problem(s).
Their pristine motor shows a lot of handling finger/hand prints after all that.
Can't wait till they get that thing on the track?trail?road? (whatever the purpose is).
The clutch linkage mechanical workings was pure genius.

It sounded like it was running like hell in the video at the rally.

Wow, the guys have gone off the rails on the gauge cluster. Wow.

I think it'll be "brilliant" once they complete it, but it sounds like they'll hate it by then.

It sounds like they already might hate it.

That gauge cluster will be a fascinating episode.

I think the concept is fatally flawed and that’s why I think they have pushed it to the back burner.

It’s not going to drive near as well as the Toyota they got the motor from.

I was enthusiastic about this thing in the beginning, now it’s just “who cares?”

The snake eats itself. Mission creep meets viral YouTube interest.

And in the end, the car isn't all that visually interesting; all the fun is in the details, and like someone said above, so far it hasn't even shown it can run well....

Exactly. I think its a lot less about the car at this point, and more about entertaining us with the videos of the process.

I've mostly stopped watching, just like I did with the ClickSpring making a clock from scratch videos, and then again with the ClickSpring reproducing the Antikythera mechanism. The videos for all 3 were very well done and interesting, but after the first 20-30 hours of fabrication and/or jokes, it was less novel.

The last few binky videos I fast forwarded through and only watched bits and pieces.

I certainly respect the effort they put into that thing but, in the end, I think it will never be a very good car.

I hope they made a lot of money off of the videos, because they certainly put a lot of time into their production.

It’s interesting to note how gray their hair has become in the few years since they begin this adventure.

I feel the same. Binky on the road could produce some good content.

If Binky is running then the whole thing was a money grab.

I dropped out immediately. Cars that are very complicated take forever.
