Started as a Rally Car, but once Nik was let loose on brackets, and they conversed extensively over tea, the possibility of stuffing into a tree became a more honest conversation.

Prob decided they would rather see their efforts live a long life on the road instead of beat up on a course. Which is probably how Richard can make that comment.

My guess.

I think the seams is what keeps the whole car together!
So if they are not rallying it, be pretty tight for 2 grown men to cruise around in.
My guess is it will be a show car that gets driven a bit. I could see it on Leno's Garage etc.

Just started binge-watching this last week. Holy frijoles Batman... these guys have some serious skills and it’s inspiring me to (finally) get my 911 out here and start getting into it. The fabrication skills are great but it’s more about thinking things through and being careful than it is having a zillion fancy tools. Most of the job (and I’m up to episode 16) are with basic grinders and a MIG (occasional press, drill press, chop saw and TIG use). Absolutely love what they’re doing! Inspirational!

Episode 34 is in the works!

"

Those who didn't like the Old English White needn't have worried...

We've not quite managed to finish episode 34 yet. There are some extenuating circumstances but no excuses, we've just not managed to get the work done fast enough.

It's possible we might be able to upload next weekend but if we're honest, with the problems we've still got, it's likely to be the week after. "

Withdrawal is rough!

I thought there were things being installed that I didn't remember them fabricating.
Or maybe it was so long ago I forgot.

Wow so much work just to get heat & a/c where/when you might them. !!

And kudos for completing a complete episode without getting their hands dirty

....word of warning - don't use that Dynamat anywhere around where there's a possibility of elevated heat.

My OCD kicks in watching these guys.
Was it just me that thought they'd find a reason not to put the motor in?

OCD?

I didn’t see them use a torque wrench in that episode, for all those important nuts and bolts…

I think Rod was referring to his OCD.
Looking at that wiring loom made me think of the hours that went into the whole process.
Amazing what you can cram into the confines of a Mini.
