I had a super trick toilet in my room in Tokyo. Man, it was really nice! You can pull my man card, but I'd like to have one. I took a photo. Will have to dig it up.

when i was about 10, parent's house had a bidet in the master bathroom. i watched my younger brother drink from it like it was a drinking fountain. i fell on the floor laughing....

i'm with Motion.

the ones in tokyo everywhere are awesome. my aunt in taipei had one as well. my ass was squeeky clean!!

makes me regret not adding some electrical behind my toilet. retrofitting at this point will be a big job.

Never used one in 49 years, I suppose it would save on TP.

That looks pretty nice. Mine was an old fashioned manual model, it did not spray water. It was the European style, more like a sink you could sit on. My grandson found it and thought it was a wash basin for kids. LOL! I found it pretty useless and got rid of it when we remodeled. The contractor kept telling me he would take it out but I should keep it and use it for a punch bowl.

Never used one of those. However, I did promise myself a urinal in the next house that I build, buy, or remodel! No more peeing in the yard for me...okay well maybe sometimes!

It's a proud day when a man teaches his son to pee on a tree.

I don't mind peeing in the yard when I'm working in the garage. Also with an urinal in the next house, won't have to listen to the wife complaining about my aiming ability...

Costco had these a few years ago:

IntelliSeat - the Ultimate Bidet Electronic Toilet Seat - Inteleseat Bidet - Amazon.com

I wired up an outlet 'behind' the toilet seat and it installed easily.

My 11 year old son and I use it. It has a dryer - though a little TP is faster.

For some reason my wife rarely uses it . . . Seems to be designed more for the female #1 & 2

It does indeed save a bunch of TP. Warmed seat, warmed water, heated dryer. It's the shiitz.

I've speced many but never actually had the chance to use one. I'm kinda curious. Might look into one if I like it.

Does it have a handle like that on each side? That would be kind of cool. Push the button, grab the handles, and hang on!

Are bidets seperate from toilets? That's how how I remember them. A one piece unit might be nice, as we are building a new house.

Never used one, but on one I saw, I pulled the lever and the water hit the ceiling. Maybe it needed adjusting.

My wife lived in Japan in high school and college so we have the toto with drier and deodorizer. I could never get use to it but the seat warmer is welcoming :-)

I once watched that "reality" show with the real estate agency in FL that has clients in a nudist colony - apparently the bidet is considered a required home appliance - in order to keep the backside clean throughout the day. I guess the cling-on TP fragments aren't too popular among that crowd.
