island is being hassled and called names in this thread because he is speaking his mind and people do not like that.

He is being attacked by more open-minded folks who insist he pretends this whole bruce jenner thing is perfectly OK, just like they do. Pretend I mean.

I checked the definition of open-minded and inclusive and tolerant.
What they DON'T mean is that each individual has to think (and act) exactly like the group does in order for the group to tolerate them. But it goes both ways.

That let's me off the hook. I did not claim to be any of those things towards bruce jenner so I can still tell the truth! That works pretty good.
If I claimed to be tolerant and inclusive and open-minded ot all things that would put a lit of pressure on me to go along with the crowd and pretend.

But since i say that I am NOT tolerant or open-minded towards twisted and perverted lies and sins of society, That kicks me down a certain amount of freedom.

On the social level, fine:
1). I've rented garage space from a 'woman' who looked like Iggy Pop but with orange hair and tits. Terrible business person but one of the most open hearted individuals I've ever run into in life.
