Ashley Madison users, soiled your pants yet?

It appears that Ashley Madison, the site promoting extra-marital affairs, has been hacked. I wonder how many of their users are *****ting in their pants right now, especially if they don't have a wife as understanding as Camille Cosby.

If I were to use a site like that, I'd take it for granted the information would get out some time in some form or another. I suppose those using it have some level of disregard for that or just don't care. The lure of the strange is strong.

The site is being promoted as one that saves marriages. They say "they would rather cheat than leave".

As if cheating is going to save a relationship USUALLY. Although I guess there are time that it could do so.

There is not much personal information that goes on that site to be hacked anyway. Most people use fake names and pay with a secondary email address. But yes, the stupid ones will get caught.

Yes....this is the case. Unlike WalMart or things where there are real finances at stake, the reality is probably the only real link is through the credit card number used to pay the subscription, and MasterCard is not doing a reverse lookup any time soon.

I suspect (but don't know of course), that most are paid via PayPal, using a dedicated email account just for that purpose.

At least, that is the way I would do it....but some dummies out there will be quite unhappy.
