Actually this guy is still responsible for the choices he makes regardless of what may have happened to him in the past.
The abusive childhood defence is so often used for people simply not doing the right thing.

But that's the whole problem. What is the right thing to do in a given situation? Most people can't even agree on that.

It's all about personal responsibility. I he wants to be a women and is not hurting anyone then so be it but this guy is also a father.
