Better to get a aftermarket all metal one.
There's a few low buck aftermarket that will work with minimal amount of fab "extend a top mount 1.5 inch".

Looks like a sweet 928! Nice work and looks like it would be a blast to drive!

928 Motorsports do a fantastic radiator for about $950.00 or so.

[QUOTE=crustychief;9037476]I have a 9 page invoice from Dec 2014 totaling 8900 dollars because he had the car gone through and re-sealed and new gaskets from head to tail so it wouldn't leak onto his C4S. ( he has a neat lift in one of his garages). in July of 2015 he had the timing belts replaced, all associated stuff with that including all new cooling system ( except radiator) and new drive belts. I am convinced the maintenance has never been deferred.
Shaun, I did pay enough. but i reviewed the receipts from the last three years and paid him less than that total. I am pretty happy.

That is quite the car. All this sticker shock bs is just that, bs. No more expensive than a 996.

You should be very happy, it looks like you got a great car for relatively short money. Cars like this are few and far between. Enjoy it!

Why couldn't Porsche just make a nice air-cooled 928?...

I have always liked the 928 but I have been watching your thread and started looking for one. Not as a cure for happiness but to have just a little slice of Porsche supercar history.

You will be enjoying your car for months before mine is on the road. Heads are still in NJ and block/pistons/rods are in NH at machine shops. Looking forward to your impressions on how it drives!

Nice car. Another thing going for the 928 is that Pick'N'Pull usually has them in stock
