Is it hot out or what!?!

We came within' 1 degree of the high temp record today....

Humidity is about a thousand percent.....

Even at night it's hot.....

Last year we had the hottest summer on record.

What the hell is going on?

We moved here in 1970 so that's 46 years now.....but I don't remember it being like this.

Something's going on.

Maybe I just can't handle it the same as when I was younger....

It's been a sauna here in Columbus, OH. Not super hot, but the humidity is up there.

I've noticed that I can no longer take the heat like I used to. It's been 97-100* here lately and I'm melting.

Talk to me when you have 70 straight days over 100 and not a drop of rain.

Same here. Sucks. I'd rather have FL or TX conditions. I can deal with hot but utterly despise feeling cold. Right now it's cold, raw, dreary and it just sucks. It's like it is for six other months of the year here and it's pissing me off that it's now ruining my July - usually one of the only tolerable months I get!

Really? I thought today was fine. I mowed the lawn in the morning swam in the pool, then went fishing in a few local ponds. I think cool liquids, being in and near water and not fueling the inner fire (eating too much) is the key.

Caught my first snook today, strangely in a fresh water lake.

True dat:
6 weeks ago it wouldn't quit raining yet now praying for rain... the proverbial feast or famine
and
this day after day of heat index being above 110 is getting really old.

who needs a sauna when you have this ?

We got dumped on earlier.

Was a typical hot and sunny day and boom out of nowhere.

Trees and fences down all over the place.

Had the severe temp drop that makes you pucker cause you know that might bring flying cows to the party.

Wind was intense, felt like a good old east coast Hurricane for about 20 minutes.

Was nice out afterwards so it's all good.

Yeah, weird, it's Houston in FL. My mom lives about 200miles south of you. You guys are having some hot weather. Usually, there's a pretty good breeze coming off of the water, and the proximity to the ocean usually keeps you a bit cooler. My mom says there hasn't been much breeze lately over there lately.

That's what our weather is like in Houston every summer. We are close enough to the water to keep the temps from being as high as west and central Texas, but far enough to not get the nice breezes from the gulf.

Baz,

Jax is hot as hedoublehockeysticks. Opening the door to walk outside is like opening a oven door.

My AC can barely keep up.

Can't complain where I live. Got up to 88 today w/ humidity in the forties. However it did get over 100 a couple of weeks ago. That was the first time it's gotten above the mid nineties most people can remember. This past winter we had a long cold spell (not record lows) people living here for decades say was different than they remembered. So it seems like things may be changing, since people are complaining everywhere.

Been in LA for over 40 years and I do see a little change. The summer aren't as hot as it used to be. The endless days of slight rain has gone away. I remember it would rain for 3-4 days straight without much of a break. My mother wouldn't allow us to go out to play in the rain. Its was up into the 90s today. Did my bike ride this morning and now I have a really define farmer's tan.

Can the stuff up and send it here. It's winter

Actually summer went on and on then there have been record warm temperatures here for the start of the winter so I shouldn't be complaining.
