I think my Onyx has had some type of event. She seems off, seems confused, wandering, balance issues and just isn't herself. She still purrs when we pick her up but something isn't right. I'll be taking her to the vet in the morning if I can get in but I'm unsure what they can do.

Ear problem/infection ??? Vet could probably diagnose something like that.

Well, vet stated that some form of episode has occurred. Vision is affected as sense of direction. She looks healthy so before throwing things at her, it's a full blood panel and urine sample analysis.

Fingers crossed it is not life threatening..

Well I don't have any pictures, but I might have an outdoor cat for a while. The other day I was up by my small sheds parking my little utility trailer. While I was backing up, I saw some kind of large cat fairly slowly going up the bank from the sheds to the tractor shelter. I thought it was either a bob cat or juvenile mountain lion. Well, it's not a mountain lion.* It's a bob cat.* I just walked up to the tractor shed around 3:30 to get some watering cans, and on the way down I saw it slowly going up the bank to the tractor shed again.* Must have taken up some kind of residence under the smaller shed or stays in the shade there during the day.* Kind of cool. I put out some water in a bowl and some leftover meat from the fridge for it. It doesn't seem too strong. Might be old or possibly sick. I'll try putting some food out in case it's not doing too well. Leftovers are getting to be slim pickins around here. I already have a hawk that lands about five feet from me to pick up leftover pieces of meat. It's learned to beat out the ravens. I also have two young rabbits that hang around outside the bedroom window mornings & afternoons waiting for lettuce, carrots, & pieces of fruit. If I can get a picture of the cat, I'll post it.
