Thanks guys,

I like her marking. As expected she hide when we got home but amazingly she was out and about within 7 hours.

I screwed up royally! We had four, momma and 3 kittens, one was adopted early, the other two kittens stayed with us for 4 months.

We recently had another litter, see pics in this thread, so we were at 7. I thought sending off the 4 month olds to a new home seemed kind of pointless, it's their home. However, She, not the momma cat, got disgusted that one of the two 4 months old was stealing milk from the babies, off momma. He was, so she said he has to go. They are a pair, brothers stick together.

I took them to a place that really wanted to adopt them when they were younger, but She became attached, and it did not happen when it should have. It happens, we all know.

Yesterday, as soon as I present them to the adopters, they haul ass. Total chaos in their minds. There was too much commotion. I checked back later that day and found one, held it, but the other wouldn't come out from under the car, so I released the one. I thought all would be fine. Went by first thing today, neither are around, no food has been consumed, just some water. Went back around today at 5pm, no one has seen them.

I feel like I just dumped them in the wild.

I will continue to search, and have ideas where they might be, but if we don't find them, thank you Dart and Racer for the love and entertainment. I wanted the best for you both, we were wrong in what that might be.

Don't give up the search. Put out fliers for lost kittens. Put out food and water.

They have been spotted! Corvettes must attract rodents. I'm sending in all the arsenal. Family reunion. They should be back home tomorrow.

I looked under the car cover countless times, too frightened to come out, I suppose. I would be too had I been shipped out.

That was easy! Took momma to flush them out, then used the babies to get her back. She wanted to move in, hauled away two while I was loading the 4 month old kitties into the car.

All good now!

Lessons learned. Good that they are back home with you.

I still have 2 Thailand Burmese neutered males needed new homes. They are more an adult than a kitten. Reduced price. Please PM or visit http://thaicathouse.com

Me: Who in here is catching a cat nap?! Mama says, not me.

Me: Put your paws up if you are!

I think my little 10yo buddy had a stroke today.

He sleeps in sometimes but didn't show up for dinner tonight. Went downstairs and he was laying there mewing. Gave him some food and he lapped it up. Very affectionate. His head was moving and he'd shake when his ears were rubbed. Normal cognition. That was good. But his back right leg was limp and unresponsive. I played with his foot and got no claw reaction. I first was thinking he dislocated a hip or a vertebrae jumping down somehow. Gave him some soft rub-downs and then some slow harder ones along the spine to se if there was a problem area. The back hip area was a bit tight but the skin rolled/stretched all the way to the back. Then I noticed his front right paw was completely unresponsive as well. He is alert but unable to get up. I will go down and sleep with him tonight.

An odd cat observation:
His fur is normally very soft and fine. Always. And he sheds a lot. Today he had one hard clump which I brushed out with some effort. I thought he got into something outside. But when I went downstairs tonight his whole back was clumped up almost instantly. Something to consider..

Sorry to hear this, more likely he has a blood clot affecting his circulation to his hind quarters, had a male cat virtually paralyzed from that, had to be put down!

Bad day. These two brothers, 6 months old, were run over in separate incidents this evening. I saw the second get whacked by a car, and found the other dead shortly there after. The first was run over earlier, rigormortice had set in already.

Born together and taken away in the same day. Now chilling in the freezer. Together forever. RIP Racer and Dart.
