I do appreciate all the help!
So far I have found 3 maybe 4 , all on the west coast, all needing a tow to the opposite shore. Truly am wanting to get one that does not eat a lot of the money just getting it here. That is the small contingency. |

Hope you don't mind me resurrecting this old thread, but I stumbled across this grease monkey and I figured, well, if you ever get one, this guy is mobile - seems he travels around the country working on 2 stroke Detroit Diesels.

oh hey - just remembered - there are 2 or 3 of the old buses near here that The Green Tortoise used before they went under
you can't get more left-wing than that AND they don't run - convert to an EV - helluva project for ya! |

The Green Tortoises - man, I haven't thought of those guys in years! IIRC they configured them to convert into one huge bed inside!
