You are correct that not many manual 991s are being made but the demand for them is minuscule. My buddy just sold his mint, low miles black 991S w/manual and it took quite a while w several price drops. I also have another friend w 2015 991 GTS manual, just saw him Christmas Day at our shindig.

Interestingly, neither guy is a huge "car guy" but they both like a good Porsche.

I traded in my 997S for an E-350. I love it. Comparing the 2 is, of course, silly.

Those porsches don't have those $8K high tech Mercedes LED headlights.

Don't you care about the safety of your wife?

Interesting, I wonder how that will evolve with time. I've not owned a 991 but have had plenty of 996s and 997s, you are hard pressed to give away a Tiptronic 996 or 997 and it seems like even the PDK 997s tend to be less desirable than the stick. But the older 911s seem to be more of an enthusiast market, whereas the newer cars are definitely more of the "I have a Porsch" owner. I wonder if the 991.1 will eventually have some desirability as the last NA standard model 911.

Its tempting... you can buy a nice Ferrari 360 for used 991 money. Nice little around town car, but not so great for highway trips between Montana and California.

Back in 2002 when some of you guys were teenagers I bought my wife a loaded Camry. She really wanted a Jetta but for reliability I talked her into the Camry. Meanwhile 15 years later she likes it now and it bores me to death. If I had to do it over again. Just saying.
