1st post on a Porsche enthusiast board and he's asking about a Malibu with possible blown timing chain?

I have never, ever, in all my time here put anyone on ignore.

This might be a first.

Just fill the trunk with tannerite and leave it in Chicago. I'm sure you'll get one last movement "under its own power"...

Weird. Seems like a troll.

Valves aren't moving, but the engine is "cranking" (but not turning over), then that would point to a timing belt issue, except that it's a 3.1L V-6, so a timing chain. Still, those can go bad.

I think it just needs to be pushed to the nearest junkyard.

I think what he really needs is advice and opinions as to which is the best oil for his air-cooled Malibu.

It's obvious the primulator is toast. Common problem with a Malibu.
While you're at it, replace the pfitzer valve. When they go bad, the first indication is when the primulator goes out.

Right, and when the pfitzer valve goes out, the car cranks really slowly, but then when the primulator is gone, it won't turn over, good call.
