Since you asked, I think it looks like total poser crap and should be crushed immediately just like most of the rat rod crap that's out there.
Notice I didn't say all, I have seen a few pieces that were well done.

They at least selected a nice side view mirror.

Looks like a scaled down and elongated version of the original one.

Trying to find something nice to say is difficult, but it can be done.

I want the mirrors before they crush it, just say'n.

Initial reaction was "do not like"

However, after looking at the photos for awhile, I like it. It's a real-life Hot Wheels car. I am always open to see variations on a theme.

It's kind of growing on me too.

Scrapped a tub about 10 years ago, too bad I wasn't thinking outside the box.

Flares in back, stretch the nose a little bit... and a duck tail.

The ultimate fail, maybe that is what they were shooting for? if so it is a wining fail.
I was trying to formulate a response, I actually love rat rods, I love creativity and artistic engineering. To that point I even love the ridiculous choppers that are totally uncomfortable/impractical but beautiful to look at.

But as in the above comment they totally miss the mark on the spirit of a "rat rod " IMHO. On the other hand maybe they were trying to "think outside the box" by building a 911 RR, is this build in Germany? Maybe they are trying to do a German version of a RR?

Either way, just like converting a classic VW to V8 front engine seems like a lot of work for a little reward.

I love it! Love the lines, love the way they lengthened the hood, love the overall look. That's a lot of hard work, a serious commitment, and the end product is really worth the effort, if it drives as well as it looks.
Granted, it isn't a daily driver. But it looks right outta Mad Max, original or remake. It's a custom rod, not a rat, , not a rail, not to anyone's spec but the guy who built it. I'd be seen in it for sure. So what if it doesn't look like what YOU want it to look like So what if it started out as a 964? Look at it this way: one less stock 964 out there means your pristine garage queen is worth that much more.

Two thumbs up!

Agree with a previous comment, the side mirrors look nice, the rest, make soup cans out of it.

Refinement.

The refinement of this one will be difficult.
Nice. You can't even see the additional (but appropriate) front-lip roller-skate wheels.

Seriously, Flat Purple? I thought that Flat Black, or bare metal were the only acceptable non-conforming rat finishes.
