I sometimes forget how fun my job is...new vehicle launch

Yesterday saw the official launch of our latest vehicle.

I don't want to add my own opinions, but I can show you the pictures that have been relaased in our local press...

I am sure some of you may look at it as just another golf car but beneath the surface it is suprisingly complex. The gas car is a little more conventional but you will be happy to know that we did give it a bit more horsepower and it is an air cooled motor!
The new website is pretty informative if you're interested in anything slightly technical.

Like I said, over the last few years I have sometimes forgotten how much fun my job is supposed to be, but looking back it has been great working on this. I would tell you more about it or show more pictures of our test gear, but obvioulsy we have to keep a lot of this stuff to ourselves. I guess you'll have to wait until the vehicle starts hitting the golf courses next spring.

But will it out-corner a 914?

The fact that you get to turn ideas into tangible product is a great reward. I feel the same about what I do.

Nicely done

Most of my experiences on golf carts have involved lots of alchohol and the police.

Is the "experience" optional ?

Seriously, congrats, that looks like a cool ride.
Almost as cool as the white Mercedes cart I saw some old dude in my last time out.

I've seen a huge interest in carts being used for hunting or just general OFO (i.e. Bad Boy Buggies www.badboybuggies.com ).........has your company looked into this or is the mkt so small it's not worth the trouble??

I was searching for an EZGO golf cart accelerator and found this from years ago. Interesting how one looks at a job. I seem to have more of a focus on a thought that maybe the EZGO should come with a "breathalyzer" as shared by another. Obviously I see no parts for EZGO here. ( :

My parents have a 6 seater at their vacation home. I sure wish there was a big warning sticker stating to put the cart in TOW mode if you run out of juice and have it towed back home.

So my mom ran out of juice and a friend towed it back 3 miles in normal mode which apparently fried the transmission or engine, not sure which. We sure know now!

Yes, many stories of late night bad behavior in those.
