Morning, afternoon or evening exerciser?

Evening for me. Afterwards I eat a light dinner, shower then pass out. I'm in awe of those who can roll out off bed, hit the gym at 5 or 6 am then go to work after cleaning up. Exercise always makes me sleepy.

morning for me, but I usually get up around 7:15 on weekends, maybe 6:00 if I want to go to a race/airshow/car show that is far away and starts in the morning.

Morning, as soon as I wake up, can be 4 or 5 in the morning, family still asleep.

Evening. Come home from work stressed, do my routine, shower, eat a light meal and sleep like a baby.

It depends upon my schedule which alternates month to month. Mostly afternoon and evening, but I don't like to wait too late into the evening or I lose my motivation to do anything but gear down for bed. I'm naturally a night owl, but once I'm awake, I'm awake, so I can do it in the morning. If I do exercise in the morning it does rev me up a bit and makes me a bit peppier throughout the day.

Morning. 6am to the gym. Wash up at gym and head to work alert and feeling accomplished. The downside is at about 3pm I start to drag. I'd love to be able to work out around 2:30 but my schedule won't permit. I have found that the best time for me when I get the most benefit (especially mentally) is when I actually don't want to exercise.

Evening and morning, often again if we wake up in the middle of the night.

Best ab workout going.

How is laying on your back and having a woman ride you like a pony a good ab workout?

If walking counts as a workout, morning, because the dog wakes up wanting to go for about an hour walk, well, more of a run every day. Basketball in the afternoon with the grandson a few times a week, which is a bit rougher on me than the running with the dog. Dog is up, chewing on my arm as I am typing, so that is that.

4 am Monday through Friday. I call it "4 at 4" . Four mile run at four am. Been doing it for over a decade.

Afternoons on the way home from work. If I get home then I never get back to the gym.

I switched to mornings this spring. I'm still struggling. I switched to give me more time at home in the evening. Seems counter productive to be inside when its nice outside and I have plenty to do.

It feels great to be done by 7:30, post workout buzz gets me going rather than keep me up at night. But... I'm not a morning person so general workout intensity is down a bit. Some days I hit the snooze and wake up too late. Today I got there but am beat from a spin class last night. Oh well.

I went for a two hour walk after dinner last week which included a bunch of arm rolling exercises that up my heartbeat. I did not sleep well to say the least and dragged all the next day.

I will stick to mornings - thank you.

Almost always strength train in the morning 5:30ish for about 35 minutes using my home gym 3 days a week. Run on treadmill during the day on weekends. I'm a family man who does much of the cooking, cleaning, etc. Working out in the morning frees up time for more important stuff.

I'm a early riser and have been known to have a cup of coffee and go for a walk before the wife gets up.

However on a work day I drag myself (literally) out of bed around 5:00AM to be on the road by 6:00 and at the salt mines around 7:00 so no way I can workout in the morning.
