YMMV, but I think this was pretty obvious to all but the unicorn riders.
To be fair, the underground vacuum tube transport has been an idea talked about by real scientists for decades.

by real scientists?

uhm... ok

I'm a real engineer talking about it when I say, it's ridiculous. :D

Are you suggesting the use a Model 3 in this one?

LOL. I said as much back in the spring (although I like the way you said it better than mine)

Model X (Gullwing doors) and no clock tower needed. This time they head to the Gigawattfactory for the juice. :D

Yes. The "nut" is about 2-3" inside diameter. They usually are rusted. About the only way to remove the nut is to dremel it off. The "tool" should only be used for installation.

The useless tool. It says for removal and installation, but it is really only useful for installation. This is better than the one we used to use.

I've removed maybe 40 ball joint castle nuts with this socket. Being in the Northeast, most have been rusted. Works perfectly. What problem are you having? Maybe you have a defective tool.

Elon Musk, great positive energy. Tesla is provocative in the automobile market space. But... he's deluding himself about energy densities. He is shaving off mirrors to buy marginal gains, when what Tesla really needs is a fundamental change in battery. (which does not now exist, even in experimental form. )

A Ponzi scheme doesn't require the existence of a legitimate profit to keep operating.

legion 08-18-2018 05:54 PM

And they can't turn a profit despite collecting massive subsidies for every step of manufacture.

It's too bad that they hand-build everything, have inconsistent quality, and can't figure out how to automate anything. It's almost like GM and BMW took profitability into account with their designs. Who does that?
