Malcolm Young certainly lived a full life. I'm amazed he lived as long as he did. RIP

Everything that I'm seeing says that Charlie isn't dead yet. Don't get your hopes up.

Dementia.

I have a feeling he was completely out of the last three or four years. Maybe for the best his struggles are over?

God speed, Malcolm.

Good. I hope he's in pain. And that they keep him alive as long as they can-with no pain medication in sight.

About time. How much did this waste of skin end up costing us over the last few decades? He should have been room temperature (and costing us $0.00) since about 1970. Too bad the liberal ninnies in CA did away with the death penalty, opting instead to let these sorts of people go on (and on, and on, and on) on the taxpayer dime.

Not sure what caused Manson to be such a nut case but I'm glad he is gone and hope he rots in hell for eternity . In my opinion he should have been executed a long time ago vs. sitting in prison for five decades .

And actually eligible for parole! I don't doubt if he pushed for it he could have been out having served his sentence. Fortunately he was locked up until he died 50 years too late.

As a young man growing up in a small Texas town, I knew of Charlie Watson. He grew up in Copeville TX and my home was not far. Played Texas high school football against Watson's school in Farmersville where he was a player too but we were three years apart so I don't think we were on the field at the same time.

The answer is Satan. Whether you believe in God and therefore the complete opposite = Satan there is nothing more confirming of evil incarnate as this guy in modern times.

There is an article in the Los Angeles Times today that has some of Manson's background explained. Reading that gives a real insight of the influences on his life.

Charles Manson, mastermind of 1969 murders, dies at 83 - LA Times

Really? I'd say far worse have come after him as far as the body count to cult leader ratio.

This just had all the right parts and timing. Hippies, teen runaways, LSD, Hollywood, Satanic Panic, The Beatles and Beach Boys connections and people creeping around in the night. It was really the perfect recipe to create a media circus and an enduring legacy.
