Seats are in... Still need to put carpet in bow and waiting on new stainless cup holders... Couple days and this thing might have to get wet!

Boat is basically done, but I decided to freshen up my roadworthy trailer before taking the boat off the old junk trailer..... Another project.
I started by removing nearly all components then scuff sanded entire trailer. Got some new replacement wobble rollers and then decided I should order four new Aluminum wheels/tires. I also am replacing the complete brake assemblies because at $100 for a pair, it isn't worth buying new wheel cylinders and shoes. I painted the trailer primarily with a 4" roller using gloss black "tractor/equipment" paint with some hardener added. The tighter more complex areas just got shot with a rattle can. It came out nice with no brush/roller marks. I then "painted" the plastic fenders with PlastiDip. Now the trailer will match my black Tundra. I store the boat/trailer inside, so this thing will last forever and remain looking nice. The wheels show up today and the brake parts come tomorrow. I also found some new Shoreland'r decals that will go on tonight. Plan on using the boat the first time on Sunday! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I like your style, Tim.
Nice work on the boat and the trailer. I don't seem to have time to do anything these days or the money to do things with!!!

Trailer is basically done (still have to fit front mini bunks and rear side guide bunks once boat is on it). Boat gets tested in the pond this afternoon and then goes on trailer tonight. Headed to the river with it on Sunday.

Wow. Doesn't look like it was painted with a brush. So smoooooth and glossy!
And did you buy new decals or just tape them off? That big one on the side rail looks pretty cool, monochromatic with a white drop shadow! (I think you do more before breakfast than most of us (ok, me) do in a 12 hour day....)

Great day on the water finally.... Boat and trailer performed flawlessly. Took all the kids (including two newborn grandkids) out for father's day. I think my daughters were nervous at first that the boat might sink with their babies aboard, but we had no issues.

Built a swim platform out of 2" aluminum tubing and 3/4 King Starboard for the top. It took me longer than I had hoped but got it done just in time to head to the lake for the 4th. Grandkids made good use of it as did all of the adults. Still need to adjust the angle up slightly so it is level when on the water. Might route grooves in it for additional traction or might just cover it with seadek mat. Probably will order one more telescopic ladder for the other side.
Bent tubing with an old pipe bender ![]() Made 6 saddle joint brackets with 2" plastic cut with a 2" hole saw. For good measure, I reinforced hull kick outs with about 1/4" additional fiberglass and 1/2 ply backer plates epoxied to the new cloth. ![]() Made 2 lower transom brackets out of a piece of 1 x 2 x 1/8 stainless rectangular tubing. Used some race car aluminum swedged tubes with heim joints to brace to lower transom ![]() Installed all brackets after epoxying holes then assembling with "satan's glue" aka 3M 5200. ![]() Made a pattern then cut out 3/4" plastic deck and then routed the to edges. Installed deck and mounted new swim ladder. ![]() I think it came out pretty good for about $350 in materials. ![]()

Thanks for the compliments... So today sitting at work I decided that until I build a wake tower, I am going to need to find a better storage solution for a couple more skis, a wakeboard and a kneeboard. Thinking of building some sort of rack system under the engine compartment or on the gunnels.... Off to take some measurements....

Boat already has speakers but I rarely listen to them.... Not into the loud thumping boat thing lol. I could see lights coming in handy for docking though. Would definitely incorporate a bimini along with storage racks on the side for kneeboard and wakeboard and a platform on top for the grandkid's tube.

Awesome work as always Tim! Might I suggest you move directly to the wake tower instead of an intermediate solution? Even if you don't wakeboard it's nice to pull from, even with tubes and kneeboards it's nicer than using the rear tow point. It also opens up a lot more options for a nice bimini top.

Most excellent work. That boat is better than when it was new. Safe boating and enjoy your time on the water. Well deserved.

Consider the height carefully, it's super annoying to have to duck your tower or have a bimini top so low that you can't stand up!
