Distributor cap placement SC

Hi all,

I am busy backdating the heat on my SC.
As most know the left part needs some remodelling to make some room for the distributor cap.
I saw underneath the cap one bolt. See picture.

Whats the function of this nut/bolt? Can it be for the adjustment of place for the distributor cap?
I would like to know before i start to remodelnthe hot air duct.

Thanks

Bolt below vacuum pod in photo is for adjusting timing by loosening and rotating distributor body and then tightening g when correct. Also to remove entire distributor from engine.
