Another H4 trim question

Hi all,

Both of my H4 trim pieces look like the pic below. Should they have an exposed screw head? Am I correct in assuming that both trim pieces are missing the outer screws in the dual screw setup? I ask because want to take them off and affix them correctly.

Yes, the factory used these 2 screws, an inner and outer, w/ plastic washers




the thread is M5 -.8 thread pitch

as an alternative you can get a couple of button head M5 -.8 bolts ~20-25mm long and a plastic washer. The Hex head makes it easy to use a wobble key. This makes it easier to snug up than w/ a screwdriver.
