PPI shop recommendation near Oakwood, Georgia?
Need an early 911 checked out there and prefer an air cooled 911 specialist.
I was referred to Graham Everett Motorsport, but they aren't returning calls. Anyone else in the vicinity? TIA

Atlanta and Gainesville Ga. Not far from Road Atlanta. There are many good Porsche shops in the Atlanta area.

Motor Werks Racing is nearby in Cumming. I bought my racecar in 2010 from a Pelican who had the car built and serviced there quite often. Matt Forte (not the former NFL running back) is a very nice and very knowledgeable guy and knows the old cars well.
But you can see from their site that they are primarily motorsports-based and since I was last in touch with them in 2011, they seem to have REALLY grown their love for the 944. Matt had a few 944 builds in progress in the shop when I was there and the rest were all sorts of 911s. Seems that the 944 work has panned out considerably! Motor Werks Racing

There's a great Porsche shop in downtown Winder, Ultra Performance. Owner/mechanic is Kurt Keitel, worked for Farnbacher Racing in Germany as a race tech, very sharp. Knows newer and older 911s backwards and forwards.

Motorwerks is good, Jack Lewis is real good but also real expensive, but if youre going to go that far south, might as well go to Goldcrest..
RS Motorworks, ATLSpeedwerks, Autoworks1 and Freed are some others as well.

Most of the race shops, like Jack and Goldcrest probably will decline a ppi.
