DART Auto - Denver - PPI Failure

I assume that if you had paid for someone to go through a checklist that included assessing for rust and the shop doing the PPI checked the box that is was OK, you would be good with it.

Structural or cosmetic? Most shops are checking for safety issues so perforation would be something to red flag. They assume a diligent, detail oriented buyer knows what they are getting via pics and their own once over when they show up to buy.

Post some underbody pics..

I am a bit confused...I might not be the only one

I am not going to get into the "he said she said" vent regarding DART performing a PPI, as it has been as far as I am concerned, overly discussed.
But after watching from a distance, I have to ask...
1) why do you have two user names JBaez and Baezventures
2) was the response to the first thread not enough information for you to make a credible assessment as to where the ultimate responsibility lies?
3) where is a copy (screenshot) of the original ad with included pictures?
4) here is a thread where you purportedly threw caution to the wind regarding the necessity (and or benefit) of a PPI :
Just bought 1988 911 Targa with 210K miles - need advice

And your comments...

"Thanks for all the points here guys. I actually did not do a pre-purchase inspection on this one, partly due to the fact that after speaking with the owner, he had 5 inches of records since new and was rather meticulous along with the fact that he had so many calls that I did not want to let it get away. I went with my gut. (I usually get burned when I don't) I have owned several Carrera's one of which was an 88 Targa with 275K miles on the original engine that had never been cracked open and it still ran like new when I sold it and this one had been purchased from Rusnak Porsche 20 years prior from the late Jack Weir."...and on and on...

So as a member of the peanut gallery....I gotta ask, and seriously, is the friend that made this unfortunate "purchase from a distance"...possibly you? Otherwise, why is he not posting his grievances instead of you?

To be clear, I am not defending DART or the seller or supporting the buyer. I have no horse in this race. This is just becoming weirder and weirder to me....just say'n.
