Question Factory shift kit question

I've been working on installing a factory short shift kit and I've been following the instructions on pelican. One thing they dont cover is which direction the box-type shifter holder goes. I dont know the official name, but it's the part where the retaining pin goes into and holds the shifter. It looks like a little rectangle with sides, but no top or bottom. Well, the original is symetrical, but the new one has a hump on it. Question is: is the hump up or down??? I installed it up, but I'm not sure if that's right.

PLEASE, ANYBODY!

Yep, I took my best guess and placed the hump up (read your posts after). I figured that you want the pivot point higher than stock and that proved to be correct. Thanks guys.
