Can't blame you for not driving. Weather has been awful in France too. Getting a bit better now, still cold but dry.
Haven't driven mine since October because the French authorities took my license for 6 months. Getting it back sometime this week. Will be back on the road soon. Can't speed anymore in France.

I hear you..i got plenty of tickets in speed traps near Cannes;-) on A8 or near entering 83 area code where i used to live-Draguignan area..;-)..have them now as a souvenir;-)

Yes but they never took your license, right? Only money. They couldn't take your license because it was a foreign license. I wish I had kept my British license and not convert it to French in the 80s when I got back to France.
Anyway, soon be back on road. No more No Wheels Blues.

funny that you mentioned ..i got 4 US, Czech and France plus old German too..but that one is from the 1980`s..i used them all ,kinda illegal but i do not care;-)
Yup plenty of money for the French roads they took from me;-)
More fun i had back in 2009 when i imported my 911 to France..i drove with California plates for 6 month-that is legal..the Police always let me go;-)

Interesting. I didn't know that US speedos had dual KM/MPH markings. I have a US '77 with only MPH markings. If you look at my past postings, you'll see some pics of the car that I posted. Based just outside of Prague. I also bought my Porsche in '96 in Louisville - but got a better deal than you. ;-) $4500 - but the fuel injection was in a box. ;-)) I'll send you a private email in case you want to get in touch.
