997.2 battery jumper post doesn’t open frunk
Battery is dead so I connected jump to the fuse box jumper post to open the frunk. I could tell that certain other accessories were being powered, however, the frunk latch was still not activating. I got the frunk open after pulling the wheel and tugging on the emergency release cable (pita)😤. The frunk fuse was OK. Any others have this problem or any suggestions? Is there a wiring diagram showing the accessories that are powered by the fuse panel jumper post?

I had the exact same problem.
Sorry, don't recall definitely what made it open. I think I had to turn the key to 'run' and then try. Strange.

Make sure you have a good ground. Try the door latch chrome loop.

Battery jumper wont do it. Has to be a battery or jumper cables.. Never thought to figure out why that is, but it is what it is..

There should be a cable near the front wheel. Here's a pic of a Boxster but it should be very close.

It works this way:
1) 9V battery or larger connected to the fuse panel battery contacts. 2) Open the front trunk with your key remote. (Note: it is in the Owners Manual).
