A/C Electrical Help????
I need some electrical help for my A/C. It was running fine and just stopped while fan was on high.
Here's what I have done: ( I am basically an electrical idiot and must have worked for Lucas in a previous life) Fuse- first thing checked. Relay switched with known good relay Fan Blower switch swapped for known good switch. Bentley pretty much points here ![]() Verified voltage to fuse block Verified continuity in resistors in footwell No blower motor function still and I do not believe the clutch is engaging. Still no go. So: How do I jump the blower motor to verify it is functional or meter check it? How do I verify there is power to the switch - which terminals do I check? I assume that if the switch has power the problem is between the switch and blower And where else and how else to check the system? Bentley is not exactly definitive for troubleshooting the system electrically. Like to have it functional before IMSA at Road America in 2 weeks and just be able to drive it comfortably.

Have continuity thru fuse and holders so I assume the fuse is good.

SOLVED!!!!!!!
Thanks to Raw911 and the rest of you for your assistance. It was the evaporator fuse which I replaced and Voila!!!! As I was doing it, I remembered replacing it long ago and how tight it was to get the fuse in with my giant hand in there with the correct angle for fuse placement. Man, I feel like an even bigger electrical idiot now. However, I aspire to be an electrical moron in the future ![]() Cleaned out a big mouse nest from the Smuggler's Box which could possibly have impeded airflow and led to high current draw. We shall see as I use the system. Man, I hate freaking mice. I fight them at my place in N. Wisconsin and now, here. Not enough owls, hawks and wolves.
