How much ground clearance do you have with the ez30r? I believe it has a very short oil pan, so it can't really be shortened like the ej20's?

Wanted to share this amazing video that Michael created from an un-boxing. Thanks for this one!

Pretty damn cool project. I had collected some Subie parts for a possible 914 project....but ended up with a 911 and am considering an LS instead. So will follow this build closely for ideas!!!
I will be adding flares as well...but TIG'd and hammerwelded...(less grinding, less filler, less problems later)
Those wiring kits are pretty nice....use them often where I work. Go together smoothly.

I am long overdue for an update here! I know there are a few naysayers out there because of the engine, but I've been working on the car for two years doing custom bodywork and custom bumpers, etc...the engine hasn't even been touched yet. So it might be worth checking out, especially if you are doing bodywork or some customization on your car!

A few peeks of the custom 3-D printed LED lights, as well as the car in full primer, which I did in my backyard. Side view of the scoop, which I am actually redoing. But it was a good project to practice my fabrication chops.

Rear bumper fitment came out great. TRE Motorsports supplied custom fiberglass flare ends to match the ST flares, so there was a lot of customization to fit them, but they look perfect.

I truly enjoy your YouTube build videos and how you share the good, the bad, the fun, etc with each installment. I still pucker up every time I see the engine tip over and kick the car to the right!! :0

Awesome, can't wait for more! Good to hear the words about Mike Brewer. It's shocking people act like that towards one of us.

Thanks guys. It’s been an amazing learning experience. So far, I have not had a single bolt on part it has not had to be highly modified.

Real crazy thought: water-cooled mezger block out back Anyone done that with a long hood? must be out there somewhere

I dig the innovation within the classic ST-style lines. Don't know a lot about subie motors, the fast ones sure can scoot though! As much as a 2.5SS or 2.8 MFI monster would be at home out back... you best carry on at this point for everyone's sake

I really dig the taillights, but if you could manage to make it a one piece like this Singer style, that would be 1000 plus cool and sign me up for a purchase.

I like the metal finished tail light area much better.
It will hold up & look better over time than the 1-piece or the fiberglass units.
Really finishes out & carries the lines of the corners all the way to the end.
I really like the scoop too!
Really is starting to come together, keep up the great work.
If you decide at some point that the Subaru is not enough, you will already be set up for a K24!

New End of Year Timelapse Video

Hi all. Here's an end of year timelapse video, which covers installing the ST Flares from TRE Motorsports, creating a rear bulkhead (seat area) from scratch to fit over my 996 Transmission, priming the car, cutting apart and custom fitting the front and rear bumpers, my active aero and automated quarter window prototypes, my 3D Printed taillights, and more. It's been a busy year!

Honestly, I haven't been able to take a picture that does it justice yet.
Everyone who's seen it person says "it looks SO much better than the pictures".
It's very rich and deep.
