The dash is another area that almost gets zero love and attention as far as modification or change. We decided to go bonkers as apparently that’s my theme on this build. Dash is steel and the gauge cluster brow is aluminum. The brow will be leather wrapped and the dash will be refinished in a satin paint that is the same color and tone as the leather

Don't forget to tie your torsion tube to the tunnel like the Carrera did

Yeah he is amazing. I give him my wants and wishes and he needs very little of my input after that.

Dash is killer. What's the final finish?

Satin paint on the steel portion and leather on the aluminum gauge brow. Same color paint and leather more it less. We are leaning towards a sort of tobacco brown currently

I apologize to anyone viewing this on a PC as the pics are all sideways. They are from my i-phone and are upright when viewing the post on an i-phone. So ridiculous that this forum still doesn't have the ability to straighten the images

Love your rotisserie. As for the pics, open them in Paint if you're on a PC and save them (or rotate and save) and then re-upload. You can start a new post, upload to that new post, then copy the img urls, don't actually submit that one, instead, edit your original post by pasting in your new img upload URLs. my poor neck.

Yellow rules! The 3pc Fuchs sound awesome.
the moment i copy or save the image into any app on my PC it auto straightens the image. Any tips?

On a Windows machine

Save as picture in folder

Open picture, there should be little rotational looking buttons at bottom of picture, click to rotate, when satisfied with orientation click red "X" and it will auto-save the photo to that orientation

I’ll try again but when I saved picture it auto rotated it for me. Should I just try posting it? Maybe it’s already fixed? I’ll try tomorrow.

Fabbed up some trim pieces to go under the dash that will get wrapped in leather. There’s still some finessing to do where the dash gauge brow meets the dash and moulding on the right side

Looking good, Nathan (and those pics are correctly oriented for looking at with a PC).

What is that camera looking thing on the right side of the hood - a level?

It looks like someone went through the thread and reoriented all of your pics.

It’s a tangential longitudinator sometimes called a lamp. Yeah I did the painstaking task of re-orientating lol.

The tedious process of shaving the holes from the headliner rods

Bracket fabrication and installation for new headliner

Shaving the small tang and hole that holds the pillar trim panel

Is that for measuring symmetry, straightness, etc., or are you just yanking my chain (not like THAT!!! ) and it's only a little spot light?
