It's branded Marrelli, it genuine.....BTW, I have Recaros seats. a Pioneer stereo, Cocomats, MOMO steering wheel and Brembo brakes with Ferodo pads. I don't sweat it.

Joe Bob it would be very helpful to me if you would just move on and let someone that has Porsche knowledge past the 911sc respond. And thanks for the 1 star rating.
You're a class act. I am willing to bet (based on the name calling and lack of comprehension) that you are a Liberal.

I didn't add the one star. I've forgotten more experience than you have retained......take the advice and move on yourself.

What advice was that? Your advice? That Porsche didn't make the cap lol?
My experience? What do you know about me? Obviously not much.
This used to be a civil forum where people genuinely helped each other. I would think with 30k+ posts over 20 years time you would be one of good guys. Maybe your just having a bad day?

The "authentic OE supplied" Marrelli caps were mass produced for Porsche, as were the Marrelli replacement caps that were sold at the time by shops or dealers. They all came off the same production line, and are exactly the same part. There's no way to know if your particular Marrelli cap began its life installed on a new Porsche, or in a cardboard box emblazoned with the Marrelli logo.

But to someone who wants to buy the cap from you to use as part of a restoration product, it makes no difference. It's the correct cap for the restoration. You can't advertise it as an "OE takeoff part" because you can't confirm that (and no one really cares), but you can advertise it as a genuine Marrelli cap for that distributor.

Hope that helps, we happen to know a bit about being a manufacturer of OE and OEM parts.

Thank you so much for this response. Much appreciated.
