The existing locks can be rekeyed. Just take them all out and bring them to a competent locksmith. I had that done when my euro Carrera arrived here with mismatched keys and locks.

The door handle lock cylinders are not available seperately for the '86 so you have to buy a complete handle if your lock is ruined. Rekey like Kahuna said.

Even though the keys were stolen, you can still have the existing lock cylinders "re-keyed" so that the old keys won't work any longer. Here's how it works. The cylinder has 5 (I think) plates in it that are made with different offsets. When the correct key is inserted into the lock, the plates all line up with the lock barrel, the barrel can rotate and the door is locked or unlocked. Since these small usually brass plates are made with different offsets, simply rearrainging the order of the plates will render the old key useless. The locksmith can easily cut a new key to match the new arraingement of the plates while the cylinder is out of the lock. The item that will be the most trouble will be the ignition lock. Removing the ignition lock from the dash has been made difficult on purpose. Usually you will have to drill out two mounting screws, loosen an allen screw that tightens above the cylinder behind the dash and remove two screws that hold on the electrical part of the switch. Once out of the car, the ignition lock cylinder is held in the lock assembly by a pin in a blind hole which will have to be drilled out. Not impossible, but difficult. Possibly the best solution would be to buy a new ignition lock assembly complete with new lock cylinder and keys and then have the door locks rekeyed to match the ingition.

Not sure where to get them other than Porsche. Have you tried Berlyn Services yet? Bert (the owner) is a helpful guy. Might be worth a try.

Good advice Chris
If Bert hasn't got them, he'll certainly know someone who has! Cheers
