Distributor o-ring part number
Guys:
Based on a previous thread dealing with removing the left cam oil line...I've decided to remove the distributor on my 85 Carrera to gain access for this repair. "While I'm in there"....I better replace the dizzy shaft O-ring....but I can't find the part number from my parts sources or PET. Any idea on part number ?? --Wil Ferch |

According to 'PET' the part number for the "sealing ring" on the distributor shaft is:
911 602 102 00 Andy '69 911E------------>R

Look under Main Group 9- Electrical Equipment. Then look under subgroup "electrical equip.- engine 2."
It's part #7 in the diagram. Actually looks more like a bushing than an o-ring in the diagram. Probably because it's not really an o-ring. It's a fat orange silicone rubber ring with a square cross-section.
