Msd fusing in a 75

Should i put the fuse at the source if +12 which would be the starter or in the engine bay

Yes, fuse the constant 12vdc. Likely more convenient by the MSD unit.

thanks
i was thinking more along the lines of the wire being cut,, but if i put a protective sheath on it then the fuse close to the MSD would protect the car from a faulty MSD.

i fused mine from the starter 12V right where the wire enters the motor compartment near the passenger side shock tower.
