Replacing Felt in Window Frame
Sooner or later I knew it was going to happen! The felt in my 73.5T drivers side window frame just started to crumble and wedge the window in a half down position. It took a while to get it loosened up (water of all things).
I just ordered a piece from Pelican and was wondering how you approach the installation. 1) Does the widow frame have to come out of the car? 2) Is an adhesive required, and what would that be? 3) what is the best tool or method for pressing the new felt in the channel? The felt is pretty chewed up at strategic spots making it useless and the entire length require removal and replacement. Thanks for the support and assistance Regards Bob |
